Blasting its way through rocks, dirt, gravel, and mud on BFGoodrich RC01 Rally tires, Higgins’ Subaru WRX STi bested the previous record by nearly half a minute. BFGoodrich equipped cars have also dominated recent X-Games rally competition, winning 17 of 20 medals, and 5 of 6 gold medals. This coming November, BFGoodrich sponsored racing teams will head down to Ensinada Mexico, for the annual Baha 1000, a race in which BFGoodrich equipped vehicles have scored 20 consecutive wins. Besides off-road racing, hill climbs, and X-Game rally events, BFGoodrich is involved in all types of automobile racing. These motorsport competitions are serious business to the executives and engineers at BFGoodrich, because they represent a vital proving ground for new tire technologies.
